We’re Proud to Be Recognised as an Anchor Organisation

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve officially been signed off as an Anchor Organisation – a milestone that celebrates our shared commitment to making Cheshire and Merseyside a healthier, fairer, and more connected place to live and work.

The Anchor Framework was co-created during 2020 and 2021, with input from colleagues across the Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Partnership, other local systems, and members of the public. It was officially launched on 12 July 2022 by Raj Jain, Chair of the Integrated Care Board, and Graham Urwin, Chief Executive, marking Cheshire and Merseyside as an anchor system – one that works together to strengthen our communities through social value.  By aligning with initiatives like the Marmot Programme, the Framework helps bring together all the brilliant work already happening across Cheshire and Merseyside – from creating local jobs and supporting small businesses, to improving health and wellbeing and reducing inequalities.

Youth Fed CEO Chris Hindley OBE said: “This is a brilliant achievement.  Being recognised as an Anchor Organisation is a real endorsement of our commitment to social value and the difference we are making across Cheshire and Merseyside.”.  He added, “It is more than a badge of recognition – it’s a promise to continue working hand in hand with our partners and communities to make a lasting, positive difference”.

Youth Fed is proud to be part of helping Cheshire and Merseyside thrive.
