Our Programmes

Youth Fed is a charity supporting young people in the North-West, including Cheshire, Warrington, Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive service for all young people, treating every individual with respect and dignity, regardless of their background, identity, beliefs or personal circumstances.

As part of our recent targeted work, we have also been tackling the following:

  • Gambling Related Harms
Over the past year, Youth Fed has successfully delivered targeted awareness and prevention sessions on gambling-related harms to more than 1,800 young people in Cheshire and the Liverpool City Region. These sessions have focused on building understanding of the risks associated with gambling, recognising the signs of harm, and equipping young people with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions. Through interactive and engaging delivery, we have created safe spaces for open discussion, helping to challenge stigma and promote healthier behaviours across the communities we serve.
  • Practical Sessions
2025/26 has seen Youth Fed provide support to and practical sessions to over 150 families in Cheshire, focusing on sleep hygiene and the impact of child poverty. These sessions have provided families with simple, realistic strategies to improve sleep routines; while also acknowledging and addressing the wider challenges many face due to financial pressures. By creating a supportive environment for discussion and sharing, we have helped families build healthier habits, strengthen wellbeing, and access the right support where needed.
  • Criminal Justice system
Youth Fed has worked across East Cheshire, Cheshire West and Chester (CWAC), Halton, Stockport, and Wirral to deliver targeted support for young people at risk of entering, or already involved in, the criminal justice system. Through this partnership approach, over 400 young people have accessed tailored interventions focused on building resilience, improving decision-making, and supporting positive behaviour change. By intervening early and providing consistent, trusted support, we are helping young people to move away from offending behaviours and towards safer, more positive futures.
