This summer, Youth Fed took its expertise on the road to Chamboree 2026 at Cheshire Showground – the international Scout and Guide camp bringing together thousands of young people for a week of adventure, friendship and new skills.
Members of the Youth Fed team delivered a range of sessions to hundreds of Scouts and Guides across the week, including interactive cyber security sessions and a series of wellbeing workshops.
The cyber security session challenged young people to hone their digital skills through hands-on problem-solving and teamwork, while also shining a light on the wide range of careers available in the cyber security industry helping participants see where these skills could take them in the future.
Alongside this, our wellbeing workshops gave members of uniformed youth groups the chance to slow down and recharge, with sessions built around mindfulness and arts and crafts – offering a calm, creative space amid a jam-packed camp programme.
Chamboree 2026 was the perfect opportunity to connect with young people from uniformed groups and show them the breadth of support available to them. As well as delivering programmes directly to young people, Youth Fed is also an infrastructure organisation supporting both uniformed and non-uniformed youth groups across the region so we we’re proud to play a small part in such a huge event.
