Ashley’s Story
Alex initially signed up to Talent Match which offers individually tailored mentor support for the most vulnerable young people aged 15-29.
Before joining the Talent Match programme, Ashley felt he had no structure or direction in life. Ashley was introduced to Talent Match through a job centre which gave him the belief that he could achieve his goals.
Ashley practised to become a barber, completed a Princes Trust course, received a grant for equipment and is now saving to buy premises for his own barbers!
Ashley is a great example of how Talent Match works and how young people can achieve their potential.
