Who’s it for
What is it?
Youth group support for non-uniformed youth groups across the area covering topics such as:
• 1-2-1 support and advice on matters of best practice
• Support existing groups with governance to keep groups running, compliant and eligible for funding
• Support new groups with advice and information when considering setting up governance to open a new group
• Policy Guidance
• Recruitment advice
• Fundraising support to identify and share relevant funding opportunities, including conducting group specific funding searches
• Access to external provider support and opportunities
• Youth Fed Events Youth Group involvement opportunities to help raise group awareness.
• Training opportunities including Safeguarding, First Aid, Managing Behaviors & Basic Youth Work Skills
• DBS administration service
• Guest speaker workshops including Bid Writing Workshops
If you have something you would like our Youth Group Support Officer to support with to help your non-uniformed group, please let us know and Alison will work with your group to best help you. If Alison cannot support directly, she will do her best to research and signpost you to contacts in her network who can externally support your group, for example with professional legal help, marketing & social media.
